In 2025 we completed a mini refurbishment project at the Calman Centre at Gartnavel, delivered as a donation in support of Beatson Cancer Charity.
This project formed part of our ongoing relationship with the Beatson Cancer Charity, an organisation we work closely with and are proud to support. The refurbishment was completed ahead of the opening of the charity’s therapy and counselling centre, a space created to provide vital emotional and psychological support to people affected by cancer.
The works were delivered through a collaborative effort between our in-house team, trusted sub-contractors and staff supporting the centre. As with all projects delivered in healthcare and community settings, our focus was on quality, care and creating a calm, welcoming environment for those who would go on to use the space.
Our partnership with the Beatson Cancer Charity is an important one for us at Strachan and Kemp. Supporting organisations that make a tangible difference in our communities is a value we actively build into our work, and we are proud to contribute our expertise where it can have real impact.
We are honoured to have played a role in bringing this space to life and look forward to continuing our work with the Beatson Cancer Charity in support of the essential services they provide.
